ABOUT EASTERN PANHANDLE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
Eastern Panhandle Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in January of 1970 as the Eastern Auto Workers Federal Credit Union. The purpose was to serve the workers and families of the General Motors parts and distribution facility here in Martinsburg.
We have evolved over the years and changed with the times, and on May 25, 2000, we converted to our community charter credit union serving the Eastern Panhandle of WV.
We currently have over 3900 members and assets exceeding $14,000,000.
We are proud to be able to serve the citizens of the Eastern Panhandle and be a credit union source for those who are unable to join other area credit unions due to eligibility restrictions.
